KONICA MINOLTA ORCHESTRATOR
The Orchestrator is Konica Minolta’s answer to companies in all sectors, from small to medium-sized enterprises, who feel the need to access a secure and scalable cloud environment with dedicated resources. As it consists in an IT Process Automation solution, SMEs can also benefit from automated IT processes that are currently performed manually.
ENVIRONMENTAL AND SUSTAINABILITY SERVICES
To address businesses’ need for greater real-time access to high-fidelity ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and sustainability data, we are providing SMEs with a suite of Environmental and Sustainability Services (ESS). This cloud platform collects and analyses users’ consumption data, in order to help them set goals and plan actions aimed at embedding sustainability into their value chain.
DISTRIBUTED CLOUD INTELLIGENCE
Distributed Cloud Intelligence (DCI) is a 5G-enabled solution we developed within the framework of the CELTIC-NEXT Project AI-NET ANIARA. It leverages AI to distribute computing amongst the edge and the cloud so that people, spaces and technologies are all connected in the new hybrid workplace, as well as in digital industries and smart cities.
DISTRIBUTED MANUFACTURING FOR OFF-SITE CONSTRUCTION
Within an Innovate UK project that aims at exploiting AI with Building Information Modeling (BIM), we developed DMOC (Distributed Manufacturing for Off-site Construction), an end-to-end Workflow Management System which facilitates the distribution and procurement of complex manufacturing jobs between multiple suppliers.
PUSHING IT INFRASTRUCTURE TO THE EDGE
As new cloud computing trends and working practices emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic, the benefits derived from the adoption of hybrid cloud solutions are more evident than ever before.
However, as demand increases, it also raises challenges for bandwidth, latency and near real-time analytics. Edge technology, as a complementary evolution of cloud computing, can help alleviate these barriers.
AI-HE2C IN DEPTH
Relocating elements of an application to the edge of a network is a key Service Delivery vehicle for systems and applications, and is now an increasingly viable approach thanks to the availability of more robust computing machines. By adopting this paradigm, we build distributed scalable solutions that host applications on any of the existing public and on-premise platforms. In this way we contain the exponential growth of data generated by local machines and make data processing on-premise more affordable, reliable and secure.
